Usually a summer flowering plant, Agapanthus can bloom 2-3 times a year in San Francisco and hence being widely planted.
You see me everywhere in the city, and I thrive even on the neglected side of freeways.
I am strikingly showy and they named me 'love flower' in the olden days.
