
The kidney shaped fronds of kopakopa will tightly curl up to preserve moisture when there is not enough rain.
Only found in New Zealand, I am called kopakopa by the Māori because I wrap my leaves to survive dry seasons.
Don't be surprised if you see nothing but me in the volcanic rock regions.
